Seeking to create a new, independent brand, CES approached Jpd for a strategic solution. As a new company with no track record, CES faced the challenge of winning the trust of consumers in the highly competitive market. With more affordable suppliers in China, CES needed to focus on the know-how of its team and the opportunity it was offering for market growth in the region. Furthermore, being wholly owned by OSC, CES had to develop an independent brand to avoid any potential brand cannibalism or competition with the parent company.
Jpd analyzed the key trends in the industry and the demands of the target segment to develop a brand positioning that emphasized the core of CES's service offering. The Jpd creative team crafted a brandmark and supergraphic device that reflected the progressive growth of the industry and multi-sectored target-market of CES services. Equipped with the knowledge gathered from the research phase and created a brand universe, Jpd tailored a user-friendly site map for a smooth digital user experience.
The strong and bold entrance of the CES brand into the market exceeded the company's original growth plans. The immediate interest from targeted industries allowed CES to enter a new segment of Food Production, which was one of the client's top aspirations. With its success and powerful brand, CES has decided to expand to Malaysia and confidently compete with suppliers from China.
