CES had to compete with more affordable suppliers in China and firms in a market already crowded with several established players; they needed to find a way to stand out and be remembered. Furthermore, being wholly owned by OSC, CES had to develop an independent brand to avoid potential brand cannibalism or competition with the parent company.
We set up a brand strategy session with our client team and stakeholders and worked on refining their vision for the new brand. Jpd's creative team crafted a brandmark and supergraphic device that reflected the progressive growth of the industry and the multi-sectored target market of CES services.
We also created detailed brand guidelines covering every aspect of the new branding, from brand strategy and tone of voice to logo, colours, and typography.
The strong and bold entrance of the CES brand into the market exceeded the company's original growth plans. The immediate interest from targeted industries allowed CES to enter a new Food Production segment, one of the client's top aspirations. With its success and powerful brand, CES has decided to expand to Malaysia and confidently compete with suppliers from China.
