The award winning hotel brand Vakkaru Maldives is a luxury resort located within the crystal clear waters of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in Baa Atoll. Client worked with Jpd in 2017, to create a distinctive brand story and identity, to be able to stand out within a competitive landscape of Maldivian travel, where many big and established players are having similar offering and target audience.
Upon official launch, brand concept was greatly welcomed by the audience and media, with features in magazines, such as Forbes, Telegraph and Hello.
This January, the Vakkaru Resort had a chance to welcome celebrity singer Madonna for its stay with the family, to celebrate New Year 2020. Madonna mentioned her trust in Vakkaru Maldives brand, where she “found the ultimate luxury getaway to forget her woes” (Daily Mail).
