With a vision to be recognised as a global brand and refresh the look of their Talc powder line, Ajmal Perfume approached Jpd to help them design their packaging. The Company has established a strong retail presence with over 150 exclusive outlets across the GCC, the Far East and hundreds of dealerships across the globe. With a constant need to innovate and adapt to the market needs, Ajmal team wanted to get this project rolling.
As a part of the client brief, the product needed a packaging that would reflect the local motives and the Arabian feel, while remaining within the required production costs, retail storage requirements and in-house manufacturing capabilities. Understanding the brief, the Jpd team developed a full packaging for the product line: from concept to the final 3D render materials. The packaging designs drew inspiration from the Desert Rose and was successfully accepted by the audience within the existing and new markets and remained to be the strongest competitor with the highest market share among talc products.
Apart from the other awards won by Jpd at the Transform Awards MENA 2017, they also bagged an award for Ajmal Perfume – Best use of Packaging Design.
