Seven Seas Group (former EMS Seven Seas) is a global maritime services group, operating in 18 countries throughout Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, Europe and the Americas, with a global network of 600 ports. Being established for over 4 decades, Seven Seas Group has contacted JPd, as they were undergoing a merge of several companies and required a new strategic direction to help them smoothly transition and communicate a new message, externally and internally, to the members around the world.
With several strong international competitors in the market, Seven Seas Group required a new competitive edge to differentiate and establish themselves strongly in the global arena. Seven Seas team missed a comprehensive brand positioning that would fit within new corporate direction, capitalize on company’s established expertise and engage internally with more than 1000 professionals in the group. With upcoming scheduled launch date, working under a short deadline, JPd team had to ensure consistency in brand roll out across various suppliers and partners of the group.
JPd team performed an in-depth analysis of survey’s findings from company’s employees’, partners and customer to identify the essence of the group, as well as any key gaps in the corporate communication. Working closely with Seven Seas’s team and suppliers in Dubai and Europe, JPd’s strategic team developed a brand positioning “Concierge of the Seas’, which streamline company’s competitive advantage of diverse offering and attentive approach to customer’s enquiries.
