Owning your Colour

Even more important than a companies brand signature or logo the second most valuable asset a brand or company can own is its own distinctive colour. Brands today can be recognised instantly by audiences from colour rather than reading the name; brands such as Tiffany for example put more into the brand awareness of its cyan blue colour than the placement of its brand signature on packaging and advertising. The Uniqueness of the Tiffany colour is more powerful and recognisable than the typography used within the brand signature.
